Young people can't turn their lives around without the skills – both professional and personal – to do so. The Osiris Organization's Life-skills Counseling is designed to give youth the basic skills to empower themselves to reach their goals, and to turn away from the influences that have sent them in the wrong direction.

Osiris Organization works with at-risk youth and youth in transition from the Hennepin County Home School. By providing positive role models and real-world training, Osiris Organization offers youth a chance to look to the future with a positive outlook.
Today, many of those who have been helped by Osiris are returning to help the youth currently in the program. Some are starting businesses. Some have returned to serve as mentors as a way of giving back to the program. Each month Osiris Organization hosts a recreational event for youth in transition from the Hennepin County Home School. Also invited are youth who have had weeks or months of living back in the community, working, attending school and generally following a positive mode of living in keeping with their probation goals. During this recreational event youth in transition have the opportunity to see the skills used by the established transitioners. Through conversation and interaction with the youth just beginning their transition process the established transitioners have the opportunity to observe themselves as they were several months ago and therefore chart the progress they have made.
But the best way to “serve” is simply going on to live a healthy, productive life. That's what Osiris is all about.
