Osiris Organization, a local non-profit, in its 11th year of service to at-risk youth in the Minneapolis area, is holding their annual event on Thursday, May 1st st Biaggi's restaurant in Eden Prairie. Hear Osiris grads speak about how their lives are mentored and guided down a positvie path and how these youth are giving back and guiding Osiris through the next generation.
This year we will share the jazz musings of the fantastic Pippi Ardennia. Pippi, known around the country for her special musical style has been compared to Billie Holiday. A Chicago native, Pippi has local fans thrilled that she now calls the Twin Cities home. Ms. Ardennia has performed at many of Chicago's most respected music and jazz clubs. She has performed for such notables as President Clinton, Tony Bennett, Liza Minnelli and more. Come and feel the music performed by a classy vocal talent.
Her CD 'Black Coffee' is available for puchase at the event for $20. Pippi will generously donate all proceeds to the organization.
